Also for the ESAaviators the new year started typically, with some check flights and flight training to refresh every ones senses and skills. Some pilots booked a flight trainer for some standard approaches with landings on airfields in the closer region. In the first weeks of the year the weather brough again many days with deep clouds and rain, sometimes including some snow, but also brought some opportunities for flights with quite impressing weather sceneries.
As first activity in the new year on the calendar of the ESA aviators, on the second Saturday of March, 3 club pilots took the chance with perfect training weather conditions for a solo flight to land at airfield Pirmasens, Speyer and Walldürn.
